Bikini Cookies

I dont know why Im mad about cookies this week.. i made 1 recipe of the butter cookies and sugar icing to decorate my cookies... its sooo tiny and cute. i love them...Bought alot of tiny and cute cookie cutter recently... :) As usuall.. i packed it nicely and give to my colleague!

i still haven get right consistency of the royal icing for the lining! I know i wont be happen in 1st or 2nd try.. will bake more and try again..

Black Macaron

i fell in love with macaron since the first time i saw it...i made twice before and i failed tats why i stop quite long time and this is the first time i can see the "foot" from the macaron i made.*jumpingandscreaminginkitchen* really happy.. at last, my macaron success! im sooooo happy!

My 2nd attempt for decorated cookies which mmmm i can do better next time.. of course this one is better than previous one from the piping, from the icing consistency,from the cookies too.. I crazy about cookies now... i still have a lot alot of plain cookies at my house.. will decorate them soon.. stay tune.. more photo coming up!

Kretek Chicken

i baked this for christmas party at my home...What should i say about this chicken? its only spicy, juicy and yummy. My friend shared the recipe in forum. haha whenever i think of this spiciness..*slurp* drooling... Supposed to use green chilli but the green chilli here not as spicy as red chilli so i mix it.. and u see.. nice colour there..match the xmas theme.

Passion Fruit New York Cheese Cake

Well as previous post... i will start bake again... made this Passion Fruit Cheese Cake and bring to my office.. share with my colleague..haha they finish all the cheese cake.. its yummy... :)

i love passion fruit... because the sweetness and sour taste make me totally fell in love wtih this fruit.


500g Cream Cheese

110g Cottage Cheese

170g Sugar

1no lemon zest

4 eggs

1 tsp vanilla essence


130 Digestive Biscuit

100 g Butter


1. Beat cream cheese,cottage cheese and sugar together

2. Add egg one by one at a time. Add lemon zest and vanilla essence.

3. Bake at 150c for45 mins to 1 hour in a au bain marie


- u can use anytopper u want. :)

-coat baking pan with butter before pour the batter to the pan.

yayyyy... I found a job... The pay is not very hight but haixxx... just fill my boring day ba as Im getting sien to hang around... without working! I found a new friend here,Julia. She just sitting beside me.. Her boss is my boss's boss! She is nice and pretty.. :)

Being tour guide again...

U know why i can upload my bog now..? I had new lappy hahaha soooo happy! old one is too big and heavy..not attractive too!

:) I have friend come to Singapore.. Well she is not my friend.. she is my childhood friend's sister or My auntie neighbour! supposed my auntie entertain them but she working..and after my story u will know why i willing to bring them around.. She went to Penang first before Spore and Kuala Lumpur.

She went to Penang to arrange for her son operation. I dont know what happen to her son but yeah~~ he is sick. she is with 2 son age 4 and 11 (Sick). Her neighbour and Her Aunt and Nephew! When they arrived SG.. they went to my auntie house first and they planned to stay there but the son (4) dont want to go in to my Aunt house.. He kept cryinggg and cryinggggg! Naughty Boy! then i find room for them! My mummy is here too.. so i cant meet them!

Day 2: Me and my Aunt visit them..When i reached their apartment,they are stranger to me. this is the first time i saw my neighbour after more than 10 years we never meet. Her son(11) quite pity.. something wrong with his mouth.His mouth full of metal.. i dont know wat its call. but is just pity! And his young bro is A Bullier. He always get scolded by his mum even its his young brother wrong!he always smile. I can tell he is vry strong boy! (remind me of my 2nd and youngest bro).. His mother sooo patient!She is a great mum.. Every mum is..I Know! I treat them to eat..

I am not working now, yet I treat people around.. but i have my Saving..Just treat as... I treat a Great Mum and strong kid!Because of it... I never accompany my mum today.. but i met her to send her off and i promise to bring them to Jalan Jaln tmrw!

Day 3: They waited for me because I am late! We went to Sentosa..Wat a tired day! U know wat they brought? they brought a big and small mineral water from home! This is wat we call Indonesian.. I know they just want to save! but how can u enjoy when you have carry such heavy water! and The Auntie carried such heavy plastic... and because of my Keponess.. (try to be kind) i help her to carry! She have son with her.. but her son is just like statue standing there! haixxx..The auntie treat me Chicken rice for dinner then i bring them to Merlion!

Thinking to go Back.. But too late.. cant catch the ferry...! upset!

but i feel Good after help them and make them enjoy this trip!

well after so long i never update my blog, i feel more lazy and lazy to update it same as cooking and baking. i have been busy past few weeks. Mummy and my friend (Jenny) from Medan came for holiday..I dont even have time to bake or cook...! its not an excuses, alright? Im still waiting for my PR to come so i cant work in a mean time. why its take sooooo long??? i want to find a job and go travel.. :) i been jobless 5 months already.. haha but i enjoying..

Im sorry...

I went back to Medan, North Sumatra... :) did a lot of things ther.. I'm happy that I saw my grandma healthy.. All my cousin.. And aunt and uncle.. Our big family! And our last neighbour also drive us around to brastagi and anotherpart of lake toba.. Tired but fun..

Grilled Chicken

I miss Indonesia grilled chicken, grilled pork ribs (Naughty Nori - Bali), u must go there and tried their grilled ribs.. its really nice! I make some too on Monday, as ussual, after work rush to go home and cook. :) tired but i enjoy it!

1 Chicken (can change to the part you like)

3 garlic
5 chilli (more if you want more spicy)
2 small red onion
a bit Tummeric and kencur (just for the taste) Dont add too much!!!
5 lime leave
2 tamarind juice/ lemon juice
3 tbsp oil
2 tbsp water

1. Clean chicken
2. Blend all the spices except lime leaves.
3. Rub the blended spicies into chicken. Season it. i season it oneday one night :)
4. Grill it on grill pan using small heat 15 mins, turn the chicken and cook another 15 mins. If u want have burn effect, turn the chiken, in hight heat cook for another 15 mins. (can use oven or charcole)

Chocolate Brownies

Tried something new today. Brownies are very easy to make. can do it even without mixer.

Chocolate Brownies
- 1 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup pecan (i change to almond)
- 3/4 cup melted butter
- 4 eggs

- Preheat oven to 175C
- Grease 9x13 baking pan
- mix together flour , baking powder, cocoa powder, sugar and salt. stir to blend.
- mix in 3/4 cup melted butter and 4 egg
- Mix throughly, spread the batter evenly to prepared baking pan, spread the almond on the top. - Bake for 25-30 mins,
- Wait till completely cool before take out from baking pan

Cupcake For Rin

Rin is my GF, i knew her around 4 years ago.. when she and me studied at same school in Singapore.. when she first came to the school, she sat with me and from there we became friend till now.. Rin, happy b`day to you. hope u always healthy and all the best.

She love Durian (most difficult), Hand Bag, Strawberry and Lemon..


Smiling Onde Onde

In bahasa they called this as Onde Onde Ketawa, ketawa means smiling.. quite easy to make, i made only half recipe!

Resource - NCC
500 gr Plain Flour
1 tsp Baking Powder Double Acting (BPDA)
150 gr Caster sugar
50 gr margarine
1 tsp vanilli
4 egg

1 cup water
100 gr sesame
1L cooking oil

* Mix plain flour and BPDA, set aside.
* Beat butter and sugar until smooth, put the eggs one by one while remaining whipped until fluffy. Turn off the mixer unit.
*Pour the flour into egg mixture, stir well and slowly until can shape it. make it round like a ping-pong balls, dip briefly into the water immediately roll over white sesame.
*Fry in skillet with oil and fire a lot of moderate to bloom and khaki.
*Lift. Drain. Cool and store in a jar.

Green Bean Soup

Just a simple and easy dessert at home.. :)

Grean Bean Soup
- 300gr of grean bean
- 3L water
- 1-1.5 cup of plam sugar
- 1/2 cup of caster sugar (optional, depend on your taste)
- 6 pandan leave
- pinch of salt

- wash the bean, throw all the bean skin which fload in the water.
- cook the grean bean with 2.5L water , till its cook. Set aside
- In another pot, cook the plam sugar with 500ml water and pandan leave. let it boil. sieve.
- Add the sugarplam syrup and salt into greanbean soup dan let it boil for awhile.


Chawanmushi is an egg custard dish found in Japan. (ya everyone knew that, aren't they?)
its smooth.. unlikely my previous steam egg which moon's skin hahaha.

Chawanmushi ala wawa
(makes 4 cups)
- 3 eggs
- 250ml bonito stock/chicken stock
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 tsp sake or white cooking wine (optional)
- 3/4 to 1 tbsp light soy sauce

i used what i have in fridge.
- 3 crab stick
- 2 shintake mushroom (cut into small pieces)
* feel free to add other ingredients (such as prawn, chicken, Imitation sharks fin, gingko nuts etc)

1. Break the eggs into the bowl. Gently stir the eggs with a pair of chopsticks using a cutting action.
2. Add the rest of the ingredients to the eggs mixture, Blend the mixture till fine.
3. Place crab stick, chopped mushroom at the bottom of each cup and pour the egg mixture over (do not fill to the brim, leave some gap on top).
4. Cover the cups with lids, transparent food wrap or aluminum foil (do not leave an opening).
5. Steam the cups over high heat for about 10 mins. To test if the chawanmushi is cooked, insert a bamboo stick into the mixture: if a little clear liquid comes out, it is cooked.

Chicken Katsu

I made this for dinner. Easy to prepare and not messy :) i dont really like Japanese raw food (i dont like it at all) like raw fish, seaweed, mmm sotong???, but their cooked food are OK for me. i had this recipe long time ago.. Now then i try :)

Black Sesame Cheesecake

For sesame lover I'm sure you will like this.. :)

Cake ingredient:
- 120g sponge cake mix
- 2 egg
- 30ml water
- 30gr butter (melted)

Cheese filling:
- 350g cream cheese
- 80g caster sugar
- 2 tsp gelatin powder
- 2 tbsp water
- 350g fresh cream (whipped)
- 30gr black sesame (toasted, blended) next time will add more

1. To make sponge cake, beat sponge cake mix, egg and water in a mixer with high speed untill light and fluffy. Turn to low speed, mix in melted butter until well blended.
2. Spread butter into 18cm (7") square baking tin and bake for 20 mins. Remove from oven and cool completely. split into 2 layers.
3. To make filling, beat the cream cheese and sugar till soften and smooth.
4. Melt gelatin powder with water over double boil. Stir into cheese and fold in whipped cream until well blended. Divide to 2 portion.
5. Add in blended sesame into portion cheese form sesame cheese mixture. The other reserve for original flavor
6. To essemble, place a slice of sponge cake into baking tin. spread with half of sesame cheese mixture, follow with half original favor. cover with another slice of sponge cake. Then spreat with remaining of sesame cheese and original flavor. cover and keep in fridge overnight.
